Earthworks & Site Development

Earthworks are engineering work created through the moving of massive quantities of soil or unformed rock.  With the discovery of diamonds in Canada's north and the development of 4 operating mines, BHP's Ekati diamond mine, Diavik's Diavik diamond mine, De Beers Canada's Snap Lake diamond mine and the now closed Tahera Jericho diamond mine - NUNA has moved and placed several million cubic meters of earth to create the required site infrastructure.  In addition, NUNA has provided assistance with the mine planning of these projects.
